Marco Ceraglia was born in Rome in 1960, lives and works in Sassari. Graduated at the European Institute of Design, he was a teacher there from 1985 to 1991. He alternates profession with personal research and continues teaching in various Schools, Institutions and Universities. He has collaborated with the best ADV agencies in Sardinia and has realized several national ADV campaigns. At the same time he trained to become a Performer/Street Artist (Theatre en Vol as an actor and later he founded his company Equilibri Precari). From 2002 he follows a path of personal research into creativity with GRECAM (Gruppo di Ricerca, Espressione e Creatività Attraverso il Movimento) under the  guidance of Norberto Silva Itza. In 2014 he trained to become a Curator at Fondazione Modena Fotografia.
In the 2018/2021 and 2021/2024 periods, he carried out two Participatory Art projects proposed as actions to counter the phenomenon of depopulation in two small towns in the northwest of Sardinia: in Banari “THE LARGEST GROUP PORTRAIT IN THE WORLD”, and in Borutta, “ECCE HOMO”, how what you are presents itself. Both are accompanied by an elegant photographic volume Punctum Press Editore and a documentary film; He has published other photographic books like “LE CARTE LIBERATE” Carlo Delfino Editore 2018, “ISOLITUDINE” edizioni OrdinariMai 2021, ”IL BANDOLO DELLA MATASSA" edizioni OrdinariMai 2022 and in the last few years he is present in the Art Edition section with some titles (at Torino Salone del Libro 2010 with “SONAZZOS” Delfino Editore, at Madrid Estampa 2012 with ”CONCERTO PER PIEDI SCALZI” Delfino Editore, at Arco Madrid and Bologna Museo MAMbo 2023/24/25 with “TERRE DI MAREE” edited by Casa Falconieri Cagliari). Always in the last years he has developed several projects under the form of Installations /Sculptures using different materials but mainly iron and steel. Today he is a post- photographer and he is also involved in visual-art design. He has received several international awards, his works are present in public and private collections. He has made several solo and group exhibitions in Madrid, Barcelona, Portivechju, Milan, Turin, Venice, Genoa, Cagliari and Sassari. Bianca Maria Rizzi in Milan, Crisolart Galleries in Barcelona and Saatchi Art USA proposed his works.
