OMAGGIO A KAZIMIR MALEVIČ
Malevič e i suprematisti affermavano che l'arte astratta era superiore a quella figurativa, ritenevano infatti che questa fosse schiava della natura e che quindi andasse superata, da qui il nome della corrente dallo stesso Malevič inaugurata, il SUPREMATISMO. Io sono affascinato dall'astrattismo e dalla forza del segno grafico che diventa esso stesso portatore di significato; con quest'opera e in stile DaDa mi piace ricordare e rendere omaggio al grande artista di Kiev (1879 - 1935) e alle sue intuizioni.
TRIBUTE TO KAZIMIR MALEVIČ
Malevič and the Suprematists claimed that abstract art was superior to figurative art, as they believed the latter was enslaved by nature and therefore needed to be overcome. This led to the name of the movement, Suprematism, which was founded by Malevich himself. I am fascinated by abstraction and the power of the graphic sign, which becomes a carrier of meaning in itself; with this work, and in a Dada style, I like to remember and pay tribute to the great artist from Kiev (1879 - 1935) and his insights.
